Claudio Ranieri takes positives after Foxes penalty defeat

Claudio Ranieri was happy with his Leicester side's performance despite their penalty shoot-out defeat to Hull City on Tuesday evening.
Riyad Mahrez's opening miss proved costly as Hull advanced to the Capital One Cup quarter-finals for the first time in their history.
Mahrez had given the Foxes the lead in extra time only for Abel Hernandez to level five minutes later, and Ranieri said the equalising goal came at a "bad moment" for his team.
"I'm not happy with the result but I'm happy with the performance because we knew it was a tough match and we played strong," Ranieri told the club's official website.
"We tried to do our best and we scored a goal but we conceded a goal in a bad moment. We were very, very close to finishing the match with a win but we then lost the penalty shoot-out."
The Leicester boss also paid tribute to the performance of young full-back Ben Chilwell. The teenage left-back did well against Hull midfielder Mohamed Diame as the Foxes suffered defeat for only the second time in all competitions this season.
